The programs are self-paced and you can register and begin the courses at any time. You’ll have eight weeks to complete the program starting from the date you register.

Students should expect to dedicate around 6 hours per week to complete coursework in this program.
What type of qualification is associated with the Cannabis Certificate programs?
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Are scholarships or financial aid available for Kalamazoo Valley Community College’s cannabis programs?
These programs are currently not eligible for federal aid.

The Kalamazoo Promise Benefits - What is it?
The Kalamazoo Promise is a scholarship program that covers the cost of tuition and mandatory fees at qualifying post-secondary education and training institutions. The Promise is available to graduates of Kalamazoo Public Schools who lived in the district while attending at least all of high school in Kalamazoo Public Schools. Are KVCC's Cannabis Education Programs eligible for a 529 plan?
529 plans cannot be used to pay for the Cannabis Certificate program fees.
